After years away from the Hong Kong stage, The Weeknd appears to be preparing a major comeback to the city. The Canadian artist last performed in Hong Kong in 2018 at AsiaWorld-Expo. His expected return would bring one of pop and R&B’s biggest live shows to local fans.

What We Know So Far

Live Nation Hong Kong added fuel to the excitement on May 7 after posting a teaser with the caption “A Foreshadowing Of The Final Leg”. Similar posts also appeared on Live Nation accounts in Singapore and Thailand, pointing to a wider Asian tour announcement.

The Hong Kong date would likely follow The Weeknd’s European stadium run, which is scheduled through the summer with shows in countries including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

The tour comes after a huge album chapter for the singer, including After Hours, Dawn FM and his latest album Hurry Up Tomorrow. Fans may hear tracks from across his catalogue, from Blinding Lights and Starboy to Save Your Tears and Can’t Feel My Face.

Tickets And Venue

SCMP, citing insider sources, reported that The Weeknd is expected to perform in Hong Kong this October at Kai Tak Sports Park, which has become one of the city’s key venues for major international concerts and large-scale events.

Official details have not yet been confirmed by Live Nation or The Weeknd’s team. More information is expected to be released in the coming days, following the teaser shared by Live Nation Hong Kong.
