Vincenzo Capuano’s pizzeria will open its first Hong Kong location at Lee Tung Avenue in Wan Chai on 29 April, after the launch was announced in February. Reservations are now open for visits starting on opening day.

The restaurant is set to serve Neapolitan-style pizzas, including Provola e Pepe with smoked provola and black pepper, plus pistachio-topped Tetti Illuminati and the meatball-and-mozzarella Abbraccio e Mamma. Diners can also expect pizzas cut and served with special scissors at the table.
The menu is set to focus on Neapolitan-style pizzas with both classic and richer topping combinations. Besides signature Provola e Pepe, options include Tetti Illuminati, built on a fior di latte base and finished with mortadella, pistachio cream and Pecorino Romano flakes, and Abbraccio e Mamma, a heavier choice topped with traditional meatballs, Grana Padano and buffalo mozzarella.

The line-up also lists other pizzas such as Margherita, with San Marzano sauce, fior di latte, extra-virgin olive oil and basil, plus Margherita Con Bufala, topped with bufala mozzarella. The restaurant is also expected to offer starters and salads, pastas, mains, desserts and drinks, with dietary labels for items that may contain nuts, are spicy, or suit vegetarian or vegan diets.
The Wan Chai venue at Lee Tung Avenue, ground-floor units 01, 04 and 05, is set to operate daily from 12PM to 11PM. Bookings are being taken for tables from 29 April, when the Hong Kong branch begins service.
