It’s official. SKIMS is opening its first store in the 852 at Times Square this November, in partnership with Lane Crawford. The upcoming store marks a major step for the brand in Asia, giving local shoppers a dedicated space to explore SKIMS’ underwear, loungewear and shapewear in person.
Kim Kardashian Praises Hong Kong’s Fashion Energy
Co-founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, SKIMS has built its name around bodywear designed for fit, comfort and everyday wear, from sculpting shapewear to stretchy underwear and soft loungewear.
Kim Kardashian also shared her excitement about the opening and praised the city’s fashion influence.
“Hong Kong has such an incredible energy, style perspective, and influence on fashion globally,” says Kim Kardashian. “Opening flagship store in this city allows customers to experience the quality, fit, and innovation behind every SKIMS piece in a more personal way. I’m excited to bring the brand to life in these dynamic fashion capitals.”
A First Look Inside The Upcoming SKIMS Store
The upcoming SKIMS store at Times Square appears to feature a soft, minimalist design with cream-toned interiors, curved display walls and warm backlit shelving.
Inside, shoppers can expect neatly arranged underwear, shapewear and loungewear displays, with mannequins showcasing the brand’s signature neutral tones and body-focused silhouettes.
SKIMS co-founder Jens Grede also mentiond that physical retail remains important for how customers connect with the brand, describing Hong Kong as one of the world’s most influential fashion markets.
Where Will The SKIMS Store Be Located?
The shop will be located on Matheson Street, in the former Tiffany & Co. spot, placing the brand in one of Causeway Bay’s most visible corners.
More details, including the official opening date, are expected to be announced soon, but you can already mark November on your calendar.
