HYROX has announced its 2026/27 race calendar, with the Hong Kong race confirmed for January 7–10, 2027.
The announcement gives local athletes a fresh target after the city’s last edition drew more than 19,500 participants in May, making it the largest HYROX event in Hong Kong.
What To Know About HYROX Hong Kong 2027
HYROX is a fitness racing event that mixes running with functional workouts. The format combines eight 1km runs with eight workout stations, testing both endurance and strength in one long, sweaty challenge. Competitors can race solo in Open or Pro, share the effort in Doubles or Doubles Pro, or take part in a four-person relay.
Partnered with AIA Hong Kong, HYROX Hong Kong will return from January 7–10, 2027, with ticket sales expected to start soon. The last Hong Kong edition, held in May, attracted more than 19,500 participants, showing how quickly the race has become popular among gym-goers.
Other Asia-Pacific Race Dates And World Championships
Hong Kong is one of the first stops on the Asia-Pacific calendar, followed by Osaka, Auckland and Beijing from January 21–24, and Bangkok from January 22–24.
Taipei will host events from February 11–14 and again from March 12–14, while Brisbane runs from March 31 to April 4. Nagoya is listed for April 16–18, with Bengaluru, Incheon and Shanghai following in May.
An earlier announcement also confirmed that Hong Kong will host the HYROX World Championships from June 10–13, 2027. Dates for cities including Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Sydney, Tokyo, Seoul and Dubai are still listed as TBC.
