The annual free-to-enter SummerFest will return to Central Harbourfront from June 9-July 23. The seventh edition of the festival will be held across a 30,000-square metre space, and will feature about 25 special activities under the theme “Fun in the Sun”.
The highlight of the festival will be the “One Citybus” exhibition, which will commemorate the merger of two of the city’s major bus operators – Citybus and NWFB – which will take place on July 1 this year. The exhibition will showcase the evolution of Hong Kong Island franchise buses by displaying retro buses, retired buses, and the current fleet at Central Harbourfront all through the festival.
There will also be several special events will be held on weekends, public holidays, and other days. The three-day “One Citybus” Family Fun Day will be held from June 16-18, which will feature a pop-up store showcasing the latest One Citybus merchandise, and bus-themed game booths. To celebrate the Father’s Day on June 18 this year, the first 200 fathers who visit the exhibition with their children will get a complimentary Citybus ice towel.
Visitors can also check out Sun & Sand (a specially created beach in front of Victoria Harbour), as well as installations like the 12-metre Great Blue Whale and an IG-worthy golden Sunflower Field. Kids can also have fun at the Little Drivers’ Racing Track where they can race bicycles and balance bikes, and the special play area called Burnout Playground, among others.

HK Camping Festival 2023
Check out the camping activities on the waterfront, including the camping and outdoor brands exhibition, car camping gatherings, a flea market where people trade goods, sharing sessions, and music performances. There will also be a series of stalls, workshops, and a food area to showcase Hong Kong’s unique camping culture.

Fit and Fun Night Out – Dance Party
Dance the evening away – and burn calories while you’re at it – courtesy coach Dee Oh’s dance moves. Learn Bollywood moves with a dance class that blends traditional Indian dance with modern beats.

Hong Kong Ukulele Festival
Get a crash course in the ukulele and Hawaiian culture with this large-scale music gathering that will feature performances on the main stage, game booths, and music and handicraft workshops.

Hong Kong Balance Bike Carnival
Hundreds of little racers can participate in this annual balance bike competition. Participants can also check out the game booths on site, balance bikes, and protective gear available for children to try out for free.

SummerFest x LOCOLOCO Market – Summer Creative Fair
This four-day event will showcase creative handmade designs and allow visitors to participate in diverse workshops and make their own unique works. The fair will be divided into different zones for handmade and creative designs, original illustrations, and food and beverages.

HKYFG x HGC Summer Jam
Music and creativity are interwoven and elevated, courtesy the over 20 buskers and bands who will perform over two nights, and the dozens of small shops that will showcase a variety of original handmade crafts. Hong Kong Baseball5 Team Exhibition Game – Celebrating the Olympic Day
Organised by the Hong Kong Baseball Association, this event will introduce the basics of baseball to the general public. There will also be several photo booths and workshops to showcase the sport.

Hong Kong Baseball5 & Baseball Six Competition
A group of elite Hong Kong baseball athletes will compete in five-person and six-person baseball matches. In addition to watching the live games, attendees can also participate in various fun games, experience baseball playing, and enjoy themselves at multiple photo booths and workshops.

Be the Heroine
The event focuses on the power of women by showcasing the contemporary attitudes of women in different aspects such as lifestyle, health, sports, and diet.
