Furniture shoppers will soon have a bigger place to browse sofas, tables, décor and home ideas in person. PapaHome, Powered by Taobao, will move its Hong Kong flagship from Tsim Sha Tsui to Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay this October.
PapaHome is a home and furniture retailer built around a Taobao-linked Online-Merge-Offline model. Instead of asking shoppers to choose furniture only from product photos, it gives them a physical showroom where they can test materials, sizes, comfort and finishes before placing orders through Taobao.
The concept is designed to make online furniture buying feel less risky, especially for larger pieces such as sofas, tables and storage units.

The new flagship will open at Fashion Walk in October, covering more than 35,000 sq. ft. across two floors and more than doubling PapaHome’s current usable space.
On top of furniture, the store will introduce the brand’s “More Than Home” concept, combining home décor with dining, beauty and wellness, floristry, lifestyle accessories and community events.
A dedicated home aesthetics showroom will offer custom furniture, interior design and renovation services, giving shoppers more complete home solutions in one place.
PapaCafe and regular workshops are also planned, turning the Causeway Bay flagship into more than a standard furniture showroom for Hong Kong residents.
