AIA Carnival is returning to Central Harbourfront from 22 December 2026 to 21 February 2027. The familiar waterfront fairground will have a different look this winter, although the new attractions have not been named yet.
For many Hongkongers, the carnival is a familiar part of the winter holidays, bringing fairground rides, games and live entertainment to the waterfront.
What Rides and Attractions Can You Expect?

The programme is under wraps, but last winter suggests the usual mix. The 80-metre Big Ben Tower joined roller coasters, family rides and fairground booths on the waterfront, including basketball and ball-toss challenges offering plush prizes.
Visitors could also watch the Winter World Circus during the festive season. These attractions are not yet confirmed for the upcoming carnival.
Rides and games use electronic tokens loaded onto a card. Last season, each token cost around HK$10; the new price has not been announced.
