Cathay Pacific is offering tickets at reduced prices from France, Spain, and Israel to Hong Kong from May 10-16, as part of the government’s Hello Hong Kong campaign and the Hong Kong International Airport’s World of Winners initiative. There will be a total of 1,700 round-trip economy tickets up for grabs as part of this scheme: 950 from Paris, 350 from Madrid, and 400 from Tel Aviv.

To qualify for the giveaway, only participants aged over 18 must sign up to become Cathay members and unlock the promo code that will go live on May 10. Tickets will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. Winners will have to pay applicable taxes and surcharges on their tickets.

Last week, Cathay Pacific revealed their ticket giveaway campaign for travellers from the UK, Germany and Switzerland, which runs from May 9-15. The first participants who correctly answer Cathay’s quiz questions can win one of 3,260 tickets from London or Manchester to Hong Kong, and one of 1,280 tickets from Frankfurt or Zurich to the SAR.

Previous campaigns have included Cathay Pacific quizzes in March to win tickets from Southeast Asia to Hong Kong, as well as Hong Kong Airlines’s Click-And-Go initiative for tickets to Hanoi, Manila, and Bangkok. Cathay also held lucky draws in April to distribute tickets for passengers from Mainland China to the SAR, and for travellers from the Greater Bay Area who fly to international destinations via the Hong Kong International Airport.

The other two Hong Kong-based airlines that are part of the ticket giveaway scheme – HK Express and Greater Bay Airlines – are expected to make announcements regarding their campaigns this month.
