Get ready for another huge rugby weekend! The Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens will return to Kai Tak Sports Park from April 9 to 11, 2027, confirming the dates for one of Hong Kong’s biggest annual sporting events.
After a packed 2026 edition at Kai Tak Stadium, fans can already mark their calendars for next year’s tournament.

The Hong Kong Sevens is one of the city’s most recognisable sporting events, bringing together world-class rugby, festival energy and thousands of fans in costume across three days.
The tournament is part of the global sevens calendar and has long been known for its fast-paced matches, international teams and lively crowd atmosphere.
The 2026 edition set a high bar for the tournament’s new Kai Tak era, drawing 113,395 fans across the weekend and more than 37,000 on finals day.
South Africa claimed their first Hong Kong Sevens title, while in the women’s HSBC SVNS World Championship, New Zealand continued their dominant run, securing their fifth straight tournament victory and fourth consecutive Hong Kong Sevens success.
