Louis Vuitton is set to expand its Hong Kong presence with LV The Place Hong Kong, a new flagship at K11 MUSEA. The project will combine fashion, food and cultural experiences rather than operate as a conventional luxury store.
The waterfront destination is reported to span around 40,000 square feet, while recent liquor licence applications suggest visitors could also be able to order alcoholic drinks. Louis Vuitton has not announced an exact opening date, although local reports point to a launch later in 2026.
What To Expect From LV The Place Hong Kong
The new space follows Louis Vuitton’s growing move into destinations that mix retail with food, exhibitions and hospitality.
Bangkok already has LV The Place Bangkok, where visitors can find a Louis Vuitton store alongside Le Café Louis Vuitton, the Gaggan at Louis Vuitton restaurant and an exhibition space. Similar hospitality concepts have also opened in cities including Seoul, Tokyo and Osaka.
Hong Kong’s version appears set to follow the same direction. HK01 reported on August 11 that liquor licence applications had been submitted for LE CAFE and LV The Place Hong Kong.
The applications indicate that food and drinks will form part of the new destination, although they do not mean the licences have already been granted.
The flagship is expected to occupy a prominent harbourfront location at K11 MUSEA, close to the Avenue of Stars.
Louis Vuitton Is Hiring Ahead Of The Opening
Preparations are also moving ahead behind the scenes, with Louis Vuitton currently recruiting staff for its new K11 MUSEA location.
The company is hiring across retail, management and hospitality roles, including Senior Client Advisors, Fashion and Beauty Stylists, Visual Merchandisers, Operations Associates, Senior Concierges and Maison Hosts.
The recruitment drive gives another indication of the scale of the project, with the brand looking for employees not only for traditional retail positions but also for guest experience and hospitality roles.

Louis Vuitton has yet to confirm the official opening date for LV The Place Hong Kong. Reports currently point to an opening before the end of 2026, with further details on its café, dining offer and visitor experiences expected closer to launch.
