Fifteen Hong Kong hotels have been included in the prestigious La Liste’s rankings of the world’s 1,000 best hotels for 2023.

The Mandarin Oriental (No. 4), Rosewood Hong Kong (No. 6), The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong (No. 7), and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental (No. 7) made it to the Top 10 among the compilation of 1,000 hotels from 100 countries around the world.

The other hotels from the SAR featured in the list are the St. Regis, The Peninsula, The Murray, W Hong Kong, The Upper House, Four Seasons Hotel, Hotel ICON, K11 ARTUS, Island Shangri-La, The Pottinger, and Grand Hyatt.

Hotel Cipriani in Venice is the undisputed No. 1 hotel in the world, while the US has the most hotels on the list overall.

China has the highest number of hotels in Asia (80) on the list, with The Peninsula Shanghai ranking the highest at the No. 3 position. Hotels in Singapore, Bali, Indonesia, and Thailand also found places in the rankings.

La Liste aggregates reviews and results from more than 300 national and international travel guides, other rankings, media publications, and customer review sites. A weighted average out of 100 is then calculated for each entry to determine its ranking in the Top 1,000 World’s Best Hotels.
