Plate It Forward, the charity programme curated by Gloria Chung, is back this Saturday, July 11, with a charity sale and farewell at TATE Dining Room’s Hollywood Road location.
The event will give food lovers the chance to shop restaurant tableware, glassware and barware while supporting a good cause, with all proceeds going to Feeding Hong Kong.

What Is Plate It Forward?
Plate It Forward is a charity tableware sale that gives pre-loved restaurant pieces a second life while raising funds for local causes. Its previous event, held in support of the Sheng Kung Hui Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund, featured dinnerware donated by 10 Michelin-starred restaurants and raised HK$88,200.
This time, TATE Dining Room will be joined by several Hong Kong bars featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, including COA, The Savory Project, Bar Leone and Quinary, which will donate restaurant and bar pieces for the sale.
How To Join
The sale will take place at TATE Dining Room, 210 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan, on Saturday, July 11, from 10:30am to around 6:30pm.
Visitors can drop by to browse, shop and say farewell to the space. Bring your own bags and bubble wrap, and note that only cashless payments will be accepted.
