The Hong Kong edition of UK EDM festival Creamfields will return to the city in April 2023. The festival will take place on April 1 and 2 at Central Harbourfront. Ticket and artist line-up details are not yet confirmed.

In March, it was announced that this year’s edition of Creamfields Hong Kong was supposed to take place on December 17 and 18, with DJ Hardwell set to perform at the festival for the first time. However, the event was postponed due to the city’s social-distancing regulations. The festival was last held in Hong Kong in 2019.

Hong Kong’s anti-epidemic measures have since eased, and now vaccinated tourists can enter the city, as long as they undergo two PCR tests and daily rapid antigen testing (RAT) for seven days after their arrival. They must also observe a medical surveillance period for which they will get an amber health code that restricts their activities in public for three days after they enter the SAR.

Now that Covid-19 restrictions have been relaxed, several concerts and music events will take place in the city early next year. K-pop girl groups Blackpink and Mamamoo will perform in Hong Kong in early January 2023, as will Westlife in February. Iconic music festival Clockenflap will also return to Central Harbourfront in March 2023 after five years.
