The iconic Hong Kong ferry operator increased its fares in April, and adult tickets on the upper deck for the Central-Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai-Tsim Sha Tsui routes are now HK$5 on weekdays and HK$6.5 on weekends and public holidays.

In addition, senior citizens no longer get free trips and must pay a concessionary rate of HK$2. Fares for children aged between 3 and 12 years old also went up to HK$2.9 on the upper deck for the same seats and routes on weekdays, and HK$3.9 on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
