Hong Kong is getting its first Nintendo pop-up store, which will give the city’s gamers a chance to buy a selection of games, consoles, and merchandise similar to the video game company’s Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto branches. The Hong Kong pop-up will be open at K11 Art Mall from December 15, 2023-January 28, 2024.

The main attractions will be a game trial area where visitors can be among the first to try out playing Super Mario. Bros Wonder, as well as the chance to buy Nintendo Switch consoles. As a bonus, gamers who visit the store and log in with their Nintendo accounts can get original stickers.

Visitors to the store can take their pick of merchandise inspired by popular characters from the Nintendo universe, such as Mario and Luigo from Super Mario, Link from The Legend of Zelda, and Isabelle, Tom Nook, and other villagers from Animal Crossing.

The merchandise that will be available includes a Super Mario dining set with fan-favourite characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad on plates, mugs, place mats, chopsticks, and bowls. Nintendo nerds can also get their hands on Pimkin hoodies and phone cases, as well as Animal Crossing casual wear.

The Hong Kong Nintendo pop-up will be at 222A, 2/F, K11 Art Mall, 18 Hanoi Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
