Hong Kong Disneyland is bringing its most enchanting holiday celebration yet as its 20th anniversary festivities merge with A Disney Christmas, transforming the park into a glowing winter dream from November 14 to January 4, 2026. Inspired by Frozen, the season blends beloved traditions with exclusive anniversary-year surprises, turning every corner of the park into a festive storybook setting.
A Frozen Christmas at World of Frozen
At World of Frozen, you can watch Kristoff reveal a sparkling ice sculpture of Sven as the whole land turns into a snowy Christmas dream. Anna, Elsa and the cheerful people of Arendelle invite you to twirl through gentle snowfall with Olaf and the cute little snowgies, surrounded by glowing lights and snow-covered Christmas trees.

Kristoff also has a festive mission for families this year. In Kristoff’s Sven-tastic Surprise, you and your kids can help add fun finishing touches to Sven’s ice sculpture, giving the celebration a lovely hands-on moment. It’s a simple, heartwarming way to step into the world of Frozen and feel the magic come alive together.
Disney Characters With Special Christmas Outfit
Disney Friends are stepping out in brand-new Christmas outfits this year, adding an extra sprinkle of magic to every corner of the park. So you’ll want to dress in your most festive gear too, because it’s the perfect chance to capture unique Christmas photos with your favourite characters.

Here are some of the unique costumes you’ll be able to see in the park this Christmas:
- In Toy Story Land, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie greet guests in cheerful holiday party attire, turning the area into a playful Christmas gathering for visiting toys.
- At Duffy and Friends Play House, friends appear in cosy winter outfits perfect for festive photos.
- Over in Fantasyland, Winnie the Pooh and his Hundred Acre Wood friends share warm seasonal hugs in their charming holiday looks.
- And throughout the park, Santa Mickey, Santa Goofy and Santa Stitch and Angel spread Christmas joy with their jolly costumes and heartwarming festive energy.
Tree Lighting Ceremony and Drones on Main Street
No Christmas feels quite as magical as a Disney Christmas, and this year’s 20th anniversary celebrations make it even more unforgettable.

You’ll see Santa Goofy and the Christmas Carolers light up the “A Holiday Wish-Come-True” Tree Lighting Ceremony on Main Street, U.S.A., where whimsical snowfall, glowing projections, and dazzling anniversary-inspired drone effects set the perfect festive mood.
Over in Fantasyland, the Cinderella Carousel sparkles with new twinkling lights, giving you a dreamy backdrop for Christmas photos, while Ye Olde Christmas Market brings back all the cosy treats that define the season.
Live Music With Cantopop Singers and Disney Friends
Starting November 22, “Disney Christmas Live in Concert!” returns to the stage in front of the Castle of Magical Dreams, filling your evenings with festive music.

Santa Goofy and your favorite Disney friends will lead the celebrations, joined by Cantopop stars Jay Fung, YT Chau, and Alfred Hui, plus the Hong Kong Children’s Choir across three magical weekends. If you want a great view, you can purchase a Seating Area Pass to enjoy the concert from a reserved spot.
Magical New Year’s Eve Countdown
On December 31, you can ring in 2026 in true Disney style. Kick off your night with Disney friends around Tomorrowland and Adventureland, then head to the Castle of Magical Dreams for the anniversary-exclusive “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky”.

The celebration continues right up to the big countdown, with fireworks, music, and Disney friends bringing the energy into the new year.
More Magic Ahead in 2026
As this unforgettable Christmas season unfolds, another highlight awaits early next year: Filipino Icon Lea Salonga returns to Hong Kong Disneyland for a one-night-only concert on January 10. While separate from the holiday program, her show adds to a remarkable anniversary year filled with must-see moments.
