Hong Kong Comic Con 2026 has confirmed three major international guests for its first edition. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, Giancarlo Esposito and film legend Christopher Lloyd will appear in person.
Hong Kong Comic Con 2026 is scheduled for May 29 to 31, at Hall 3 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The organisers have confirmed that the three stars will take part in meet-and-greet activities, including photos and signings,.
Mikkelsen is best known for playing Dr Hannibal Lecter in the series Hannibal. Esposito is widely recognised for his role as Gus Fring in Breaking Bad. Lloyd is most famous for playing Doc Brown in Back to the Future, a character that remains one of the most recognisable in science-fiction cinema.
The guest announcement signals a major launch for the event, as it will be the first time a Comic Con-branded convention is held in Hong Kong. It also adds to a growing calendar of pop culture events in the city, as organisers look to attract both local fans and visitors from across the region.
