The MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2026 was revealed on 19 March 2026, bringing fresh changes to Hong Kong’s starred dining scene.

Four New Star Awards In Hong Kong For 2026

Four restaurants recorded new star results this year, while the top tier stayed steady. In total, Hong Kong now has 77 MICHELIN-starred restaurants.

Hong Kong’s seven Three MICHELIN Star restaurants all retained their ratings: 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo – Bombana, Amber, Caprice, Forum, Sushi Shikon, Ta Vie, and T’ang Court. Meanwhile, the Two MICHELIN Stars category in Hong Kong now counts 13 restaurants, with two headline changes. Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic was promoted to Two Stars, while L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon returned to the guide with Two Stars after a comeback.

At the One MICHELIN Star level, Hong Kong now has 57 restaurants. Two new names joined the list this year, with China Tang and Sushi Takeshi receiving One Star. Together, these updates underline how competitive the city remains, from long-standing fine dining institutions to newer openings making an immediate impact.
