Cityplaza is setting up a Christmas attraction across two areas of its second floor, so there’s more to see than one main decoration. From 12 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, visitors can walk through the castle in the Atrium before continuing to Centre Bridge for smaller displays and a game.

Some features move, while others look different depending on where you stand. Opening hours vary between weekdays and weekends, and a separate spending promotion begins later in November.

What’s Inside the 9.5-Metre Christmas Castle?

The red, green and white castle has a clock whose face changes expression. A hot-air balloon moves up and down, while an oversized key keeps turning. A bear wearing a green scarf and carrying a Christmas tree stands near the entrance.

Inside are two walk-through tunnels, each designed around a different visual experience.

The first, called Land of Illusion, uses overlapping patterns that appear to change as you move through the passage. The second, Realm of Whimsy, features doors, windows and picture frames in unusual shapes and sizes.

What Else Can You See and Do at Centre Bridge?

Beyond the castle, Centre Bridge has three further Christmas installations.

The Very Merry-Go-Round features rotating carousel horses and provides another backdrop for photographs. Nearby, the Pop-Pop-Popcorn Cart looks like a traditional popcorn stand, except that it is filled with round baby sheep figures instead of popcorn.

There’s also an interactive game called Snowball Scramble, where visitors can aim snowballs at snowman targets.

When and Where Can You Visit?

The Christmas displays are located at the Atrium and Centre Bridge on 2/F at Cityplaza, with the following opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 12 noon–9pm
  • Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 11am–9pm

Shopping rewards can be redeemed separately at the LIVE+ Concierge on 2/F, near Shop 265, between 11am and 9pm during the promotion.

If you’re planning to visit more festive installations, The HK HUB’s guide to Christmas displays in Hong Kong covers other locations across the city.

The castle and its installations remain open until 3 January 2027, while the shopping rewards campaign ends on 26 December 2026, or earlier if gifts run out. Find the event’s opening details on the official Cityplaza website.
