Hong Kong has a buzzing karaoke scene that gives wannabe singers the option of booking a room, performing in a restaurant dining area, or even participating in competitions. So you can pick a standard room with snacks and drinks, or an upscale lounge with plush interiors, buffet spreads, and table games. Karaoke set-ups in the SAR can also vary from walk-in lounges with a fixed song list to members-only clubs that allow you to pick songs straight from your phone. So if you’re in the mood to croon the latest Cantopop chart-topper, English hit, or K-pop bop, check out our guide to the best karaoke bars in Hong Kong.
Neway Karaoke — Multiple locations
This is one of the most ubiquitous karaoke groups in Hong Kong, with locations in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. The biggest draw is its extensive song list, thanks to its exclusive licensing contract with some of the biggest record labels in Asia. Hard-core karaoke fanatics can croon to official videos and backing tracks for the newest Korean, Taiwanese, and Cantopop songs. While karaoke is usually one of the best things to do at night in Hong Kong, we recommended heading to Neway for lunch and happy hour if you want some real bang for your buck. They also have branch-specific discounts and offers, so plan your visit accordingly.
Locations: Wan Chai, Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Mong Kok, Kowloon City, Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin, Yuen Long

Each customer gets their own headphones, and rooms come with plush chairs and separate dance floors. And if you want a break from singing, you can even watch your favourite series on Netflix!
