Hong Kong’s iconic outdoor music and arts festival, Clockenflap, is confirmed for March 2023. The event, which has not been held in the city since 2018, will return to Central Harbourfront. According to a statement released by the organisers, the 12th edition of Clockenflap is “100% confirmed” to take place between March 3 and March 5 next year.
The festival was cancelled in 2019 because of social unrest, and then in 2020 and 2021 because of the Covid-19 situation in the city. While the organisers have not yet revealed which acts will take part in next year’s event, there will be multiple stages, several F&B outlets, and a wide range of line-up of global, regional, and local acts.
“The first line-up announcement and early bird ticket details will be announced soon. Unrefunded tickets purchased for Clockenflap 2021 remain valid for the new dates, and the arrangements for using these tickets will be shared with existing ticket holders closer to the festival,” said the organisers.
Other iconic Hong Kong events have also been confirmed for the next few months, most notably the Hong Kong Cyclothon that will take place in December 2022 and the Hong Kong Marathon in February 2023. K-Pop supergroup Blackpink will also perform in the city in January 2023 as part of their Born Pink World Tour.
