The iconic cultural world fair held its first international edition in Hong Kong last year, and saw acclaimed rapper 21 Savage headline the event, and singers from South Korean label AOMG and 3Cornerz from Hong Kong. Other artists who performed at the festival included LUPE FIASCO, SHOU Lou Jun-Shuo, Novel Fergus, Loco, GRAY, and Lexie Liu. Graphic artist Verdy — who oversaw Coachella and BLACKPINK’s world tour — was the creative director for the first Hong Kong ComplexCon. The event brought together over 90 brands from around the globe and drew in a crowd of more than 30,000 attendees.

ComplexCon was first held in Los Angeles in 2016, and is an expertly curated festival of the future. It brings together the world’s most influential brands and artists for an immersive event over three days of style, sneakers, art, food, music, inspiration, and more. The festival debuted with artistic direction from Takashi Murakami and Pharrell Williams. Hip-hop heavyweights such as Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, and Nigo have performed at various editions of ComplexCon.
