To encourage more pet-inclusive transportation in the city, and foster a more pet-inclusive environment, The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) (SPCA) has partnered with Star Ferry to launch “DOG DOG Shipcation” the first-ever dog-friendly tour around Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong.
From April 29 to 30, dog owners will be able to enjoy a 45-minute ferry ride with their furkids and take in the iconic skyline and architectural structures of the city.
Designed for dogs, DOG DOG Shipcation will embark on a 45-minute-long ferry ride across the Victoria harbour starting from Central. Along the way, there will be plenty of photo opportunities against the backdrop of the harbour’s iconic skyline and architectural structures that make it unique, including the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center at Wanchai and the Clock Tower at Tsim Sha Tsui.
To top it off, each furkid will receive a sailor-themed hat and bandana, a customized certificate as well as other gifts to make the experience a lifetime memory. All fees and donations from the event will go towards the medical and daily expenses of animals in need at the SPCA.
