Hong Kong Cyclothon 2026 will return on October 11, bringing competitive racing and mass-participation rides back to the city.
As one of the largest cycling event in Hong Kong, it will feature new and returning cycling routes, an international road race and a family-friendly option at West Kowloon. Registration opens on August 20 at 10am Hong Kong time, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis for local riders.
Hong Kong Cyclothon 2026

The 2026 edition will once again bring cyclists onto some of Hong Kong’s most recognisable roads and infrastructure.
Participants can choose the new 56km “3 Bridges, 5 Tunnels” route, which takes riders across a longer city course, or the 32km “2 Bridges, 2 Tunnels” ride for a shorter challenge.
Families can also take part in the Family Fun Ride at West Kowloon. Competitive cycling is back through the UCI Class 1.1 Road Race, which will see 17 elite teams race across a 100km course.

How To Register
Registration opens on August 20 at 10am Hong Kong time on a first-come, first-served basis. Individual entry costs HK$600 for the 56km ride and HK$280 for the 32km ride.
Teams of up to 10 people pay HK$14,500 and HK$7,500 respectively, with the higher fees helping raise funds for the event’s designated charity. Team entries also receive benefits including priority starting positions and access to a dedicated marquee.
Participants in both rides must pass Parts 1 and 2 of the Cycling Technique Assessment. When registering online, riders can also add an event jersey for HK$160 and shuttle bus service for HK$70 per person. With places limited, cyclists hoping to join the October event will need to register on the official website early.
