CCW Global Hong Kong

Hong Kong will become home to the first global flagship of KIM JONES, the new fashion label from British designer Kim Jones. The store is set to open at Central Yards, Henderson Land’s development on the Central harbourfront, in 2027.

The brand is expected to make its online debut in the middle of the year, followed by a physical shop. Media reports point to October as the target opening month.

Jones has spent much of his career designing for major fashion houses. He became men’s artistic director at Louis Vuitton in 2011, then moved to Dior in 2018 to lead its menswear collections.

In 2020, he also took charge of womenswear and couture at Fendi, leaving that role in 2024 and Dior in 2025.

Now he is developing a label under his own name. Its first collection is planned for autumn/winter 2027, with most pieces made in Japan. His work has frequently crossed fashion, art and design, and the new label gives him a platform to pursue those interests independently.

The KIM JONES flagship will occupy one of five two-storey retail spaces planned for Central Yards. Covering approximately 4,000 sq ft, it will include open terraces overlooking Victoria Harbour, internal staircases and entrances connecting indoor and outdoor areas.

The shop will be the development’s first announced retail anchor. Reports have suggested an October 2027 opening, potentially alongside the first phase of Central Yards, but the official announcement commits only to 2027.

Visitors will be able to reach the wider development from Central’s harbourfront area, which is being designed to connect with nearby streets and IFC Mall.

Beyond the flagship, Central Yards will offer about 300,000 sq ft of retail space and around 100 brands and dining concepts in its first phase. Henderson Land also plans outdoor event spaces, greenery and a theatre. Phase 1 is scheduled for 2027, with Phase 2 following in 2032.
