From 10 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, Mira Place will turn its B1 Atrium into a 1980s-style American diner, with chequered floors, neon-style signs and a full-size red car. Visitors can walk between staged scenes and stop for photographs.

A 7.5-metre Christmas tree designed like a jukebox anchors the display, while a light-and-music sequence plays every 15 minutes. The decorations also continue beyond the atrium, reaching the ground-floor lobby and outdoor areas near Kimberley Road and Knutsford Terrace.

Vintage Cars, Vinyl Records and Outdoor Decorations

The vintage car has a driver’s seat where visitors can pose with the steering wheel. Nearby, Mira Gift Shop houses a retro pinball machine and a Christmas tree made from old-style television sets. Mira Diner completes the scene with car-inspired seating, a rock-and-roll bar and a wall of vinyl records.

Look up in the ground-floor lobby for a suspended disco ball and a three-metre Christmas tree. Outside, an inflatable Santa in a sports car appears on the pedestrian bridge along Kimberley Road, while the Mira Steps beside Knutsford Terrace are dressed in red. These outdoor decorations are illuminated from 5pm until midnight, later than the indoor display’s 10pm closing time.

Churros, Mulled Wine and Santa Visits

Food is available on particular dates rather than throughout the exhibition. On 14, 21 and 28 November, 5, 12 and 19 December, and 2 January, Mi+ members can collect churros and mulled wine at the B1 Mira Diner between 4pm and 6pm. From 24 to 26 December, the offer includes gelato from local brand TEEMTONEfai. New and existing members are each entitled to one free redemption across the campaign, subject to availability.
