Better With Beer, a two-day dedicated craft beer festival that will take place at Central Harbourfront on September 15 and 16, has announced its full live music line-up and added more guest brewers to its roster.

The event will showcase more than 150 beers from over 20 local breweries and distributors. Newly announced names include Black Kite, Breer, Brew Commons X Causeway Brewing, Brewdog, Citibrew, Deadman, Foam Beer, Gweilo, Hopless Daze, Lion Rock Brewery, Maks Beer, N.I.P x Mezzanine Makers, Neon Cider, Taboocha, and Tai-Pan Beer Co.

Previously, the festival organisers announced that Brews Over Borders, Carbon Brews, H.K. Lovecraft, Heroes Beer Co, HIGHERTHAN, Hong Kong Beer Co, MiMi Beer, Moonzen Brewery, Owlsome Brothers, Yardley Brothers, and Young Master would showcase their offerings at the event.

The organisers also revealed the musical acts that will perform on both days of the event at Dai Dadi, the entertainment tent. Friday evening’s session, which will run from 6pm-10pm, will feature DJ acts Crimes Against Pop, South Canton Soul Train, MouseFX, and Uptown Rockers.

There are two sessions on Saturday. The first will run from 12pm-4pm and will feature Murphy and The Lawyers, Mr Koo, Gwenji and the IRSP Records Takeover, with performances by members from Biascut, Science Noodles, Leathions, Daisy Daisy, Mason Moy, and IQ society. The evening session from 6pm-10pm line-up includes Shumking Mansion, The Boogie Playboys, Fountain Collective, and M4Gang.

Apart from the music, there will be a host of outdoor games to enjoy at The Playground, including the Beer Crate Bridge Challenge, Giant Aeroplane Chess, Hong Kong-style Hopscotch, Kick the Cock, Giant Jenga, Corn Hole, Chinese Snooker, and Chinese Chequers, as well as a variety of tabletop games.

Alternative ambiance can be found at the Festival’s Dai Pai Dong Tent, where attendees can look forward to Drag Bingo with Madame Mincemeat, as well as Lip Sync Battles, an Air Guitar Competition, live comedy, quizzes, and the Dai Pai Dong DJs.
