Hong Kong recently got its first pet-friendly Starbucks at Cheung Sha Wan. The store, which is at Lai Sun Commercial Center, has a specially designed seating area for pets and serves puppucinos – whipped cream served in an espresso cup – to pet owners who order anything off the menu.

The new outlet has plenty of low indoor seating and a spacious layout so that pets and their owners can move around easily. The outdoor seating area is great for customers with bigger pets who need more room.

Several new pet-friendly spaces opened in the city in the past few months. Recently, the government opened 54 new pet-inclusive parks across the territory. In addition, two privately owned pet-friendly gardens were unveiled at K11 Musea and Tai Yuen Commercial Centre.
