Martial arts legend Bruce Lee is getting his own anime series. Titled House of Lee, the series will premiere on Web3 video platform Shibuya in 2024.

The project is spearheaded by Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee, and directed by Shibuya co-founder Emily Yang.

The trailer for House of Lee was played before 4k screenings of Enter the Dragon, which was shown in 650 theatres across the US to mark the 50th anniversary of the film’s release.

The series is inspired by the famous Bruce Lee quote, “Those who are unaware they are walking in darkness will never seek the light.” It will be an action/fantasy series in which Lee puts together a team of Dragon Warriors to prevent the world from falling into the shadows.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Lee’s passing, and the Hong Kong Heritage Museum is hosting a series of events to celebrate the martial arts star. The highlights include a pop-up exhibition, film screenings, and a permanent exhibition dedicated to Lee.
