Cathay Pacific is back among Skytrax’s world’s top 10 airlines, with a ranking of No. 8 in 2023. The Hong Kong flag carrier dropped eight places to No. 16 in 2022, before climbing to its current position. The world’s best airline for 2023 is Singapore Airlines.
The rankings are based on data from an online traveller satisfaction survey, which included more than 325 airlines in the results.

In addition, Cathay bagged the World’s Best Inflight Entertainment award, and was in the top 10 lists for the World’s Best Cabin Staff (No. 7) and World’s Cleanest Airlines (No. 7) in 2023.
The airline also found a spot in the recent AirlineRatings.com top 25 list, which is reserved for carriers with a seven-star safety rating and that demonstrate leadership in innovation for passenger comfort. Cathay came in at No. 9.
