Following its successful establishments, LIBERTY GROUP is excited to announce its latest expansion at Quarry Bay’s Berkshire House. The entire second floor of this newly refurbished building is now home to three new branches: Forbidden Duck, Cloud Nine Hotpot, and Qi – House of Sichuan, all determined to bring gastronomic delights. Forbidden Duck

Curated by Michelin-starred ‘Demon Chef’ Alvin Leung, Forbidden Duck blends traditional Chinese flavours with modern culinary techniques, and one perfect example is its signature Peking Duck, which gained fame for being one of the best Peking Ducks in both Hong Kong and Singapore. 

Led by Executive Chinese Chef Hsu Ping Chiu, who previously worked at the Michelin 3-Star T’ang Court, Forbidden Duck continuously elevates its menu. At the new Berkshire House branch, they introduce two exclusive creations: Fried Prawns in Salted Egg Yolk with Corn Flakes and Boneless Duck with Taro and Plum Sauce, both not only captivate with their presentation but also offer a harmonious blend of flavours. 

Cloud Nine Hotpot

Celebrating the authentic flavours of Southeast Asia, Cloud Nine Hotpot captures the essence of signature Southeast Asian soup bases into 7 rich and aromatic homemade hotpot broths, including Nyonya Laksa, Tom Yum Goong, Vietnamese Beef Bone, Tom Kha Gai, Coconut Clam, Tomato Ox Tail and Hokkien Bak Kut Teh. The meticulously curated selection of over 50 exquisite ingredients encompasses a wide array of meats, seafood, and hotpot classics. Each ingredient has been thoughtfully chosen to ensure that our guests can savour the authentic flavours and essence of every single element. Cloud Nine Hotpot also offers a lunch set and à la carte menu with numerous Southeast Asian cuisine.

Qi – House of Sichuan

Coming soon in November, the award-winning Qi–House of Sichuan is a renowned culinary brand known for its spicy and artful Sichuan cuisine in Hong Kong and Singapore. The latest Qi–House of Sichuan’s extensive menu begins with a tantalizing selection of cold and hot appetizers, each crafted to showcase the bold and distinct flavours of Sichuan cuisine. Main dishes, including a selection of meats like succulent pork and delicious prawns and crabs, highlight the finest ingredients and the culinary mastery that Sichuan cuisine is renowned for.
