Hong Kong Cancer Fund – Hong Kong’s largest cancer support organisation – is hosting its annual fundraiser ‘Shop For Pink‘ as a part of its annual breast cancer fundraiser Pink Revolution. Each brand will offer a ‘pink’ product or experience, and the funds raised will support women with breast cancer, their families and caregivers through the Cancer Fund’s extensive range of free cancer support services.
Over 20 well-known retailers – including Calvin Klein, ECCO, amok, Zojirushi, and Pure Appeal are participating in the fundraiser as sponsors, offering some of their best and pinkest items. There will also be plenty for foodies to enjoy, with Conrad Macau, BB Jazz Lounge and PizzaExpress creating special menu items in honor of the Pink Revolution 2018.
Products offered will include fashion, lifestyle, beauty and F&B items in pink. To show their support, these items will all be available for purchase in October. A portion of the sales will be donated to Hong Kong Cancer Fund to support the organisation’s free breast cancer services.
With over 6% of women at risk – around 1 in 16 – breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women in Hong Kong. Self checks and early detection can save lives, but the need for supportive care is as important as ever.
The Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year by once again bringing together influential celebrities, medical professionals, and breast cancer survivors to raise breast cancer awareness. The campaign encourages women to check their breasts regularly, supports families affected by breast cancer and aims to share this important health message across Hong Kong.
