Hong Kong Disneyland announced that one of its most popular events — the Hong Kong Disneyland 10K Weekend — will take place on March 18 and 19, 2023. The event will feature four categories of runs, and registrations will open on November 28.

The highlight of the two-day event is the Marvel Super Heroes 10K run on March 19, which will have a race group (the results of which will be recognised in the Hong Kong rankings) and a fun group. The other races — Pixar Pals 5K, Duffy and Friends 3K, and Mickey & Friends Kids Races — will take place between March 18 and March 19.

As part of the event, several Disney characters including Iron Man, Mickey Mouse, Woody, and Duffy will be present at the races. In previous editions of the event — the last of which was in 2019 — runners have also dressed up as their favourite Disney characters.

Several other iconic Hong Kong sports events will resume over the next few months. The Hong Kong Cyclothon will take place on December 18 and the Hong Kong Marathon is scheduled for February 2023.
