The Hong Kong Streetathon will be held again for the first time in nearly two years, on December 17, 2023. The eighth edition of the event will have four runs: a full marathon, a half marathon, and two 10 km runs.
This year’s quota can accommodate 20,000 participants, which includes 1,500 places for overseas runners. Registrations for the races open on July 20.
There are time limits for each race so that all roads closed for the runs can reopen on time. There will be cut-off points along the race route, and participants who do not pass them before a specific time will have to leave the race and reach the finish line on a shuttle bus.
Runners are encouraged to dress up in costumes for the Funniest Outfit Award, the details of which will be announced later.
