These three small Hong Kong businesses share a passion for offering beautiful, unique and high quality items to Hong Kong parents. Read on to find some shopping inspiration and at the end of this article you can find out how to enter our Hub Bub competition (closing date 20 April 2016).
Biscuitmoon Designs
If you can’t find the stylish nursery art you want, why not design it yourself? It wouldn’t work for most of us, but the talented Ellie at Biscuitmoon Designs did just this when her twin boys were born. The pleasure she found in creating those early designs for her own babies and for her friends inspired Biscuitmoon Designs.
These personalised birth announcements are one of our favourite items, and would be a really special way to introduce a new arrival, especially to family overseas. They also make a gorgeous keepsake.
We think any kid’s room would look great with one of these birth prints on display (plus mum and dad get to reminisce about their bub too). The A4 mounted version here is $330, you can also choose stretched canvases in various sizes.

Special Delivery for Kidz
Charming from Special Delivery for Kidz is passionate about baby and toddler development and this inspired her online store. All the products she sells are carefully selected to enable babies to explore, grow and develop in the most natural way possible.
These teething bracelets and necklaces allow babies to safely and happily chew to explore their world and soothe sore gums (they are fab for journeys or long days out). Special Delivery for Kidz also features a range of handmade fabric shoes in trendy designs. These soft shoes allow babies to feel the full sensation of crawling and walking, so that their motor skills develop naturally.
The challenge of entertaining little ones all day is definitely real. These age appropriate sensory play kits are perfect for busy parents and helpers wanting to give babies and toddlers a fun learning experience at home.

Little Poppits
Little Poppits was born shortly after Carly became a mum. She lived in the Middle East at the time and couldn’t source the cloth nappies she wanted, so she made some herself. Now Carly lives in Hong Kong and is a stay-at-home mum but has somehow found time to create a range of beautiful, colourful, handmade items for babies and toddlers – all inspired by her two little girls.
These gorgeous reversible sun hats ($150) and wrap dresses ($300) are perfect for hot Hong Kong days.
Little Poppits is also your go-to place for practical but attractive baby and toddler bits, such as carrier strap covers, coverall bibs, dribble bibs, cloth nappies and ‘pee pads’ for potty training on-the-go.
We hope you’re inspired to check out these creative Hong Kong businesses and find something special – happy shopping!
