This weekend, the Kwun Tong Promenade will be the venue for the Kowloon East Rowing Festival cum Discovery Canoe Race — a free-to-enter event at which visitors can watch rowing competitions and play interactive games for free on April 27. There will also be buskers playing throughout the day and snacks available for everyone who attends the event.

Visitors who want to take part in interactive games, such as the canoe, stand-up paddleboarding, canoe and flat-rowing experiences need to register at 9.30am. There will also be a tablet rowing simulation experience and a 1-minute rowing challenge among the activities for attendees to take part in. There are also several family-friendly games that parents and children can play together, or that kids can get in on under the supervision of staff.

The Kowloon East Rowing Festival cum Discovery Canoe Race is a one-day-only event that will take place from 10:30-6pm on April 27. The venue at 86 Hoi Bun Road is accessible from the Ngau Tau Kok MTR Station (Exit B6). Register here to attend.
