Your Clutter Challenges Solved!

Hong Kong is a transient city and with small apartments lacking in storage, it doesn’t take long for the clutter to build up. But what do you do with all the stuff that’s piling up around you? Finally, one Hong Kong company is offering the solution that we have been waiting for, leaving us to enjoy more space around us.

The creators of StuffGenie want to take the hassle of moving apartment or storing your things away from you. They will deliver strong, durable packing containers to your door for free. Then, all you have to do is pack your things away. As you are packing, you can take pictures of what’s in each box and upload them to the StuffGenie site so that you can manage your belongings online. Each item has a unique QR code and tamper evident seal to ensure ease of tracking and security.

Away for 6 months and not sure what you even own anymore? No problem! Just access your boxes online and review your pictures. StuffGenie collects your full containers for free and then stores them in a temperature-regulated warehouse, meaning that you don’t have to worry about travel or going to storage rooms. Their minimum contract is one box for one month, and they offer delivery for just $120 per trip when you finally decide that you want your possessions back. For complete peace of mind, each box is insured for up to HK$1000, but higher insurance can be arranged.

In between apartments and not sure what to do with your stuff? Don’t worry, these guys can also help you out when you are moving. The process is similar, you can rent the containers and they can either deliver your things straight to your new apartment or store for you. By using their waterproof containers, you don’t have to worry about annoying tape and cardboard boxes, and they are also a better option for the environment.

On top of that, StuffGenie works alongside charity organisation, Crossroads. They will deliver extra containers, so that you can donate your unwanted clothing and goods and then make sure that your things get to the people who need them.

The regular container size fits around 100 books with a maximum weight of 20kg. Other options are available too such as document boxes for A4 papers and binders and even a wardrobe option that hangs up to 20 garments.

Have things that are clearly not going to fit in the containers? StuffGenie is happy to store any other items too. If you have sports equipment, furniture or luggage that you want taken care of, then just give them a call to arrange.

Currently, delivery is available right across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories and most importantly, the entire process can be booked and managed online through their website and soon-to-be app, meaning less stress for your head and your biceps!
