A stage production of The Tiger Who Came To Tea will come to Hong Kong from September 27-October 1. The play, which is based on the popular children’s book of the same name by Judith Kerr, will be staged at the Rita Tong Liu Drama Theatre at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Wan Chai.

Directed by David Wood, the play tells the story of Sophie and her mother who have to entertain an unexpected guest who joins them for tea — a clumsy tiger who causes mayhem with his every move.

The Tiger Who Came To Tea will entertain audiences with sing-along songs and is suitable for children aged three years old and above. There are 10 shows scheduled during its Hong Kong run this year, each of which is 55 minutes long, with no intervals.

Tickets priced at HK$275, HK$375, HK$425, and HK$475, are available on HK Ticketing. Timings of the shows vary depending on the date.
