The Natural Christmas Trees Recycling Programme organised by the Environmental Protection Department will be held from January 4-8, 2023. During this time, Hong Kong residents can send their natural trees to a central collection point or any district collection point on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon, and New Territories.

Those who want to drop off their trees before January 4, from January 9-14, or from January 16-21, 2023 can take them to Y·PARK, which is open between 9am and 6pm, from Monday to Saturday.

Trees and other ward waste will be turned into recyclable products at Y·PARK, so they can be reused, recycled or upcycled. The recycling programme does not cover ornamental material such as tree stands, lighting, decorations, and tape. This material should be removed from the tree before it is sent to a collection point.
