Central Market is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year by organising a series of free guided tours around Hong Kong’s Central and Western districts from 2.30pm-5pm until October 1. The themed ‘Unveiling the Heart of Hong Kong’ tours will coincide with this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.

Each tour will cover different aspects of Hong Kong’s heritage and history. The four different themes are Historic and Architectural landmarks, Local Shops and Dining Options, Movies and Art, and Play and Hidden Gems. The tours will start and end at Central Market, and participants will be able to get insights into landmarks such as Man Mo Temple, PMQ, and The Fringe Club, among others.

Each guided tour can accommodate 20 people on a first-come-first-served basis. To register for the walks, log on to the Central Market app.
