Hong Kong Airlines will begin its free ticket giveaway for travellers from Hong Kong to more than 20 destinations across six countries in Asia.
The airline will distribute economy round-trip tickets to passengers from the SAR to cities in Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Thailand, and Vietnam, from July 24-August 25, as part of the Hello Hong Kong campaign.
Participants can get the tickets in the airline’s Click & Go campaign on a first-come-first-served basis. The carrier will announce additional details at a later date.
This is the second airline to announce a distribution drive for the 80,000 free tickets for passengers from Hong Kong to other destinations. Last week, HK Express revealed that it will give away 21,626 tickets from the SAR to 19 destinations in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan.
Several giveaway campaigns for free or discounted tickets for travellers to Hong Kong from different countries began from March 1, courtesy the Hello Hong Kong and World of Winners initiatives.
Tickets to travellers from Southeast Asia, Mainland China, the UK, Europe, South Korea, Japan, the US and Canada, Dubai, India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, as well as Australia and New Zealand have been awarded.
Cathay Pacific revealed its plans for a lucky draw to give 36,090 free tickets to travellers from Taiwan to Hong Kong later this month, while Greater Bay Airlines is also handing out 1,500 free tickets from Taipei to the SAR this month in a buy-one-get-one-free offer and two lucky draws over the next two months.
