To celebrate Mirror star Keung To’s 24th birthday on April 30, 2023, fans have organised free tram rides on two trams running the length of Hong Kong Island on his entire birthday day.

Hong Kong Tramways announced via its social media on April 4 that two tramcars decorated with Keung To pictures will celebrate “0430 KT Day 2023” by offering rides free-of-charge for one day in collaboration with the actor and Cantopop star’s fans, called Ginger Candies.

The popular member of Hong Kong boy band Mirror is the second-youngest among the 12 members.

In 2022, one tramcar emblazoned with the idol’s face offered complimentary rides.

More Keung To celebration activities

In addition to the fan-sponsored ding ding rides, his Hong Kong Fan Club has organised the following activities during Keung To’s birthday month. Profits made from the activities will be donated to charities:

  • Keung To 430 Sweet Café display at The One UG2/F Atrium (Tsim Sha Tsui) from April 5 to May 1
  • Birthday Carnival display at Windsor House (Causeway Bay) from April 5 to May 1
  • Limited edition birthday item store from April 5 to May (weekends and public holidays): Details to be announced
  • Handing out of Keung To 0430 2023 banners outside shop 278 of LAFORET (Causeway Bay) on April 5 & 17
