An Immersive Festive-Fun Experience for HK Kids!

Glitter and Gore are Hong Kong’s specialists in fun, immersive entertainment. At their magical ‘Santa’s Secret Kingdom’ experience kids get involved in lots of festive fun and games and meet the big guy himself.

When my 3 lucky little ‘Elfvestigators’ aged 2, 6 and 8 were invited to join the hunt for Santa’s Missing Sack in December 2017, we jumped at the chance.

A Letter From Santa

A week or so before our visit to ‘Santa’s Secret Kingdom’ we received a personalised letter explaining that Santa’s magic sack had gone missing at his Lapland HK workshop and he urgently needed some ‘Elfvestigators’ to help him find it, or Christmas would be cancelled! The letter and story were perfectly done and the kids were extremely excited. What’s more, there was a map to follow to a secret location which intrigued the kids and made the whole thing seem like a real adventure.

Lapland HK!

Who knew that Santa had a secret workshop here in Hong Kong? It was pretty well hidden and there were a few nervous moments where we worried we might miss our appointment with Santa. But, phew, we made it!

Once inside Lapland HK we were recruited by Santa’s elves to help save Christmas by finding Santa’s missing magic sack. We moved through the rooms of the workshop, completing some fun games and challenges along the way, the highlight for my crew was decorating festive cookies (anything with sugar!)

Finally the mystery of the missing sack was solved and Santa himself came to thank us. Each ‘Elfvestigator’ got a chance to chat with Santa and they were all thrilled to meet him. Was he ‘the real santa’ or just a helper… the debate continued all the way home.

Who Would Enjoy Santa’s Secret Kingdom?

Santa’s Secret Kingdom is a lovely festive outing for younger children. The organisers don’t set an age range because ‘believers’ can be any age, but personally I’d say the 3-6 crowd will love it and siblings can have fun playing along.

Santa’s Secret Kingdom was a charming and creative day out, full of festive spirit, Christmas magic and most importantly FUN! Glitter & Gore promise that Santa’s Secret Kingdom 2018 will be the best yet, so keep watching our festive what’s on guide for updated details nearer the time.
