Spoil your significant other this Valentine’s Day with an indulgent meal for two at one of Hong Kong’s hotspots. Current social distancing measures are preventing a candlelit dinner with your valentine, but there are still lovely pre-6pm meals to be shared. From harbourside fine dining to al-fresco surf n’ turf, we’ve rounded up a list of some of the most romantic — and delicious — menus to impress your date, or for those riding solo this year, some self-love.

La Rambla’s Valentine’s Day menu starts with stimulating French oysters, followed by a selection of three tapas like king crab avocado roll and scallop tartare with Kistal Caviar. The mains include traditional Catalan fish stew with lobster, redfish, and clams, as well as a 60-day dry-aged beef tenderloin with truffle. The dessert turns La Rambla’s signature churros into heart-shaped doughy goodness served with passion fruit sorbet.

    When: 14 February 2022, 11:30am to 6pm
Where: La Rambla, 3071-73, Level 3, ifc mall, Central
    Price: $2,400 for two

Surf ‘n’ Turf at Morton’s The Steakhouse

Morton’s is serving its Romantic Menu all Valentine’s weekend, from February 12 to 14. Enjoy hearty entrées like the prime rib-eye with truffle butter, wagyu fillet Rossini, and sea bass. Add the flavours of the sea with 2lbs of lobster for $200 or three oysters for $160. The mains are complemented with a bunch of appetizers like crab cake as well as your choice of one of Morton’s classic sides like corn soufflé or roasted potatoes. Finish off with a dessert platter with a (corny, but we love it) heart-shaped cheesecake.

    When: 12 – 14 February 2022
Where: Morton’s The Steakhouse, Level 4, The Sheraton Hotel & Towers, 20 Nathan Rd, Kowloon
    Price: $1,388 per person

Fine Korean Dining at Hansik Goo

Newly awarded one Michelin Star, Hansik Goo is offering a 5-course lunch menu on Valentine’s Day only. Indulge in authentic Korean dishes like Hanwoo tartare, grilled Hanwoo striploin, and a raspberry sorbet-white chocolate ginger parfait, all paired with a glass of champagne. Couples will also receive a rose to remember the night by.

    When: 14 February 2022
Where: Hansik Goo, 1/F, The Wellington, 198 Wellington St, Central
    Price: $1,388 per person
