BIFTECK
Sweethearts and soulmates can savour the “Sois Ma Valentine” menu (which translates to ‘Be my valentine’) at BIFTECK. Priced at HK$1,080 for five courses of succulent beef and seafood from 6pm to 10pm, taste Chef Kwok’s expert creations of Japanese-French cuisine with dishes like Toro Mini Tart, Carpaccio of Slow Cooked Miyazaki A5 Rump, and Boston Lobster Tsukemen. Add HK$368 for artfully crafted wine pairings. End the meal with delightful little dessert bites, or mignardises, late into the evening.

A Lux
At A Lux, couples can indulge in the whopping seven-course ‘Cupid Calls’ menu. For HK$2,880 per couple, you’ll get treated with top-grade oysters, blue lobster with lobster bisque, Alaskan king crab risotto, and more land and sea dishes inspired by two of the most romantic countries in the world: Italy and France. Add HK$980 per person for wine pairings curated by A Lux’s in-house sommelier. The 3,600 sq.ft space is a picturesque location for a romantic meal with its velvet upholstery furniture and warm golden accents.

Clarence
If you want to romance your lover this Valentine’s Day, a French restaurant is just the place to do it. Clarence’s alluring six-course menu (priced at HK$1,388 per person) is the epitome of playful fine dining with elements inspired by the day of love, like the oyster served with caviar, heart-shaped crispy potatoes, and the showstopping dessert – Le Cœur en Chocolat – heart-shaped layers with different textures and colours of chocolate.

Chutney
Since opening last year, Chutney Tandoor House has seduced diners with their authentic Indian dishes. Their Valentine’s Day menu, available for lunch and dinner, will take the couple through four courses of land and sea protein skilfully prepared in the tandoor oven (HK$680 per person). Finish with the Chutney Sweet Kiss, a rose cheesecake inspired by a traditional Indian sweet.

The Hunter
With its harbour views of the Tathong Channel, The Hunter on the Tseung Kwan O harbourfront is the perfect option for lunch or sunset dinner this Valentine’s Day. The Hunter specializes in quality cuts of meat prepared in their Spanish Josper grill, which achieves exceptionally high temperatures to create a mouthwatering balance between a crust on the inside and bursting juiciness on the inside. Enjoy an al fresco Mediterranean dinner on Saint Valentine’s Day at Mulino. A generous five courses for HK$688 per person gets you pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, roasted Fricassée of cod, tender lamb rack, and a sharing dessert of vanilla and chocolate cheesecake. Cozy down in one of FRITES’ signature booths for a romantic meal to remember. You cannot miss the Mussels of Love with their iconic crispy frites and garlic sourdough, Just Like Heaven’ Slow-Cooked Short Rib, and ‘At Last’ Pavlova with fresh berries, raspberry sorbet, and mango, all part of their set Valentine’s Day menu for two. Newly opened speakeasy, room 3, has prepared His and Hers gin-infused cocktails available only in the run-up to and on Valentine’s Day. The bar has teamed up with Hendrick’s to present the Berry Sour, a luscious ruby-red cocktail with Hendrick’s and mixed-berry syrup; and the Touch the Bee, a concoction of Hendrick’s, limoncello and homemade sparkling chamomile tea (both HK$130). Order these from 4pm to 9pm, and pair them with any two yakitori dishes to share for HK$188.

Terrible Baby
Terrible Baby has come up with two fun tongue-in-cheek cocktails for Valentine’s Day season this year. The Raincoat is a chocolately concoction with hazelnut, velvety chocolate, amarula, and vodka – topped with a sugary treat that looks like a condom. The Last Call for Love is a flowery gin-based drink with honey, strawberry, and red dragon fruit notes.
