Famous American fast-food chain Dairy Queen is preparing to return to Hong Kong with a new store at The ANGLE mall in Kwun Tong, scheduled to open this November.
Hoarding has already appeared at the upcoming location, giving shoppers an early look at the brand’s arrival and prominently featuring its signature Blizzard.
The opening comes around a year after Dairy Queen confirmed a major Hong Kong expansion plan last November. The brand plans to establish 60 locations across the city by 2034, marking a long-term expansion rather than a one-off return.

The ANGLE location is likely to feature Dairy Queen’s best-known frozen treat, the Blizzard. The dessert offers different toppings and mix-ins, such as candy, cookies or fruit to be added to soft serve ice cream, and it is also known for its thick texture and is famously served upside down to show that it will not fall out of the cup.
The new shop will add another international restaurant brand to Kwun Tong, an area that has continued to develop as a shopping, dining and business district. The ANGLE itself features more than 200 shops and major ACG (Anime, Comic and Games) attractions, including a large card game flagship store, as well as a pet-friendly green rooftop garden.
At the moment, further details such as the exact opening date in November, full menu and operating hours have not yet been announced.
