Hong Kong Airlines will begin its second distribution drive of free round-trip economy tickets to residents of the SAR to other cities in Asia on August 7, in its first-come-first-served Click & Go offer.
The airline recently concluded its 6,800 ticket giveaway to passengers bound for Osaka, Chongqing, Bali, Sapporo, and Shanghai Hongqiao between September 1, 2023 and March 24, 2023.
Earlier this month, the carrier announced that it will give away more than 25,000 free airline tickets to Hong Kong residents to visit destinations in Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Thailand, and Vietnam, from July 24-August 25.
The ticket giveaways are part of the Hello Hong Kong campaign to give tourism in the city a boost after the Covid-19 pandemic.
As part of the initiative, four city-based airlines will hand out 500,000 free airline tickets to tourists to visit the SAR, and 80,000 tickets to residents of the city for international travel.
