Summer Score — June 6-July 19

As football fever builds ahead of the big tournament, MegaBox presents Summer Score, an immersive exhibition in collaboration with the classic anime Captain Tsubasa.
Visitors can enjoy five must-visit photo spots featuring 5-metre tall Tsubasa & Hyuga statues, team locker rooms, a giant football table, and more. There are also interactive activities on selected days, with limited postcards and themed collectibles available for redemption.

Journey of the Horse: A Legacy of Arts and Culture Light Show — June 11-24

A new horse-themed light show is now illuminating the dome of the Hong Kong Space Museum. The three-minute projection follows a galloping horse through scenes inspired by museum collections, Chinese calligraphy, ancient artefacts, Cantonese opera, folk crafts, astronomy and Victoria Harbour. The free show plays on repeat each evening, so visitors can drop by anytime during the session to watch.

Good Music for Kids — June 12-14

Hong Kong Sinfonietta presents a delightful concert specially designed for young children aged 3 to 6. Grade10 FEST Summer 2026 — June 19–21

Hong Kong’s biggest card show returns to Wan Chai with Grade10 FEST Summer 2026, a Pokémon‑themed edition marking the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Collectors can explore rare vintage cards from 1996 to 2024, immersive time‑travel displays, cosplay moments and a live collaboration with Taiwanese cheer squad Peach Girls. SummerFest@Wan Chai: Summer Fun — Until October 4

Chinese Culture Festival 2026 — June-September

Chinese Culture Festival 2026 returns June to September with 55 events around Hong Kong. Families can mix ticketed shows with free activities. Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums — Until August 31

The highlighted exhibition brings over 3,000 years of history to Hong Kong in the city’s largest exhibition of Egyptian artefacts to date. In addition to admiring monumental statues of Merenptah, Shepenwepet II, and Iunit up close, you can explore multimedia displays such as a projection-mapped restoration of a colossal Tutankhamun statue. A total of 250 precious artefacts from seven leading museums in Egypt, including the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Luxor Museum of Ancient Egyptian Art, as well as recent archaeological discoveries from Saqqara, will be featured. Family-friendly workshops let children create jewellery, pyramid models, and even their own cat temples.

FIFA Museum Hong Kong — Until November 28

Kicking off ahead of the 2026 World Cup, the FIFA Museum makes its large-scale debut in Hong Kong with a six-month residency at Times Square. This immersive exhibition features a curated collection of original trophies and artefacts from both the men’s and women’s World Cups, alongside the iconic “The Rainbow” installation, a visually striking display of jerseys from all 211 member associations.
Football fans can also enjoy dedicated screenings of short films, interactive zones, and unique stories highlighting Hong Kong’s own football heritage.

International Arts Carnival 2026 — July to August

The International Arts Carnival (IAC) returns this summer to spark creativity and inspiration with a vibrant lineup of family-friendly performances by renowned international and local artists. This heart-warming “simple” concert blends storytelling with music as Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Music Director Emeritus Yip Wing-sie bring the beloved piglet McDull and his everyday life with family and friends to the stage. The popular CHIIKAWA ARTIVERSE Exhibition makes its way to Hong Kong this summer, bringing the charming world of illustrator Nagano’s characters to life. Spanning K11 MUSEA and the Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront, the exhibition features original artworks, interactive music installations, kinetic art, and themed display areas. A major highlight is the giant CHIIKAWA-Go-Round carousel overlooking Victoria Harbour. Visitors can also spot Chiikawa-themed trams, buses and taxis across the city.

CATS The Musical — August 6-16

CATS The Musical returns to Hong Kong from 6 to 16 August at the Grand Theatre, Xiqu Centre. Based on T.S. Eliot’s poems and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the family-friendly show follows a tribe of Jellicle cats as they gather for the Jellicle Ball, where one cat is chosen for rebirth. Featuring spectacular dance, music, and colourful costumes, the performance is presented in English with Chinese surtitles.

Peppa Pig’s Fun Day Out! arrives in Hong Kong for the first time with two shows. On stage, Peppa and George head out with Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig, joined by Suzy Sheep, Danny Dog, Daisy and friends. The story travels from the zoo to the beach, building to a party, with sing-alongs, colourful scarecrows, penguin-feeding scenes and sea-splashing moments. Cavalluna: Equestrian Theatre — September 8–13

Featuring 54 horses, including majestic Andalusians, Friesians, and adorable mini ponies, the theatre show follows the fantasy journey of Meerin, a young sorceress. The production blends high-speed trick riding and elegant choreography with “liberty scenes,” where horses perform without reins.
Families will be captivated by the “Hungarian Post,” a daring stunt where a rider stands across two moving horses. With stunning lighting, dancers, and immersive sets, it’s a world-class display of the bond between horse and human.
