McDonald’s new BTS Happy Meal — From September 3 onwards
From 3 September, McDonald’s Hong Kong launches the BTS TinyTAN Happy Meal, featuring two collectible toy sets: the Throwback Edition and the Encore Edition (dropping 23 September). Each figurine represents a BTS member in detailed TinyTAN style, perfect for fans and collectors. This marks the group’s first McDonald’s merch release since 2021’s BTS Meal. Time to collect all the TinyTan characters!

International Hot Air Balloon Fest Hong Kong — September 4-7
Hong Kong will host its inaugural International Hot Air Balloon Fest this September at Central Harbourfront Event Space! Against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour, visitors can enjoy dazzling displays of Big Hot Air Ballons from Japan, Canada, Malaysia, and the UK during sunset, alongside playful designs like whimsical dinosaurs. This summer, Water World Ocean Park is launching its first-ever nighttime event, Get! Splash! Tonight! The exhilarating celebration will run until the end of August. Every day after 6pm, the park transforms into a high-energy party hub, inviting visitors of all ages to dance under the stars at Groove in Silence, enjoy refreshing drinks at Riptide’s Poolside Cheers bar, and groove to live DJ performances at Horizon Cove. Undercover Underworld Exhibition — August 1-October 5
From now until October 5, Tai Kwun presents Undercover Underworld, an immersive exhibition exploring Hong Kong cinema’s iconic undercover cop stories. Bring your kids and step into recreated scenes from eight celebrated films made in Hong Kong, view rare memorabilia, and hear from filmmakers, actors, and real-life undercover officers how true to life these portrayals of covert operations are. Jurassic Water Park — Now until September 21

Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance — October 5-7
Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, Tai Hang neighbourhood comes alive with the century-old Fire Dragon Dance, from October 5-7. A 67-metre dragon, stuffed with incense sticks and carried by 300 performers, winds through the streets in a dazzling display of fire and smoke. Recognised as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, this Mid-Autumn Festival highlight also features a smaller dragon carried by children, keeping this cherished Hong Kong tradition burning bright.
