Get ready to groove to the beats of some of the most happening underground music as Boiler Room is making its much-anticipated return to Hong Kong. The renowned immersive club experience — which features live-streamed DJ sets and performances from across the world — will be held in the city this May in what the organisers are calling their “biggest event in the region to date”. Tickets will go on sale in early March, but there are no other confirmed details as yet.

The Boiler Room Details We Know So Far

Right now, all we know for sure is that Boiler Room will take place from 3pm-10:30 pm on May 4, 2025, in Hong Kong, and that tickets will go on sale at 10am on March 4. Anyone who wants in on the action needs to sign up on the official mailing list for priority access to passes. The organisers have also said they’ll reveal more information soon, so we’ll hopefully get details like the venue, admission rates, and the artist line-up when that happens.

What is Boiler Room?

Boiler Room started out in 2010 as a small event in London and has since then grown to include established and up-and-coming artists from all around the world across an eclectic mix of genres. It has a cult following thanks to its immersive atmosphere and often streams performances from offbeat locations.

The last time Boiler Room was in Hong Kong was during the 2019 edition of Shi Fu Miz, which took place at Cheung Chau. Some of the artists and collectives that were part of the event back then included the festival’s creators La Mamie’s, K-Melo, Ocean Lam, Roam Selectors, Utopia, and Yukari BB. They also played sessions for two days in neighbouring Shenzhen at the end of last year at OIL Club.
