Hong Kong is all set to welcome a new mall to its retail landscape, with the soft launch of Hopewell Mall in November 2024. The lifestyle landmark at 183 Queen’s Road East, touted to be Wan Chai’s most significant property development in over a decade, will be the newest addition to the Hopewell Cluster — which includes Hopewell Centre, Wu Chung House, 163 QRE, QRE Plaza, and GARDENEast.

The new mall offers diverse dining options, fashion and beauty brands, local creative brands, a family zone with children’s apparel and play areas, car showrooms, and pop-up stores. The highlight will be the flagship store of Japanese home goods retailer Nitori, which will be the brand’s largest Hong Kong outlet. Other stores include The Wonderful World of Whimsy, Kiztopia, Hailey’s House, Toys “R” Us, international gourmet supermarket Food le Parc, and pet store The Barkyard.

Hopewell Mall will also have 60,000 square feet of park space that will connect Kennedy Road, Star Street, Moon Street, Sun Street and Queen’s Road East, as well as barrier-free access facilities and children’s recreational spots. It is a 3-minute-walk from Wan Chai MTR station, but visitors who wish to drive there can park at any of the 400-plus parking spots in the mall, which has electric vehicle charging stations and up to 14 hours of free parking.

When Hopewell Mall opens later this year, it will increase Hopewell Cluster’s total retail space to over 780,000 square feet. Hopewell Hotel above the mall will also open by the end of the year, with 1,000 rooms and over 70,000 square feet of conference and event space.
