The highly anticipated Go Park Sai Sha — a sprawling sports, retail and dining destination located between Wu Kai Sha and Sai Kung — has three play areas spread across 40,000 square feet that are scheduled for a January 22 opening. The outdoor spaces have slides, trampolines, climbing frames, and a variety of other play facilities. The venue will also house a 3,000 square feet glamping-themed pet park.
What’s at the Go Park Sai Sha play areas?
The main Forest Adventure-themed playground at Go Park Sai Sha is on the ground floor near the customer care centre and boasts 10 play attractions, including seven slides — one of which is 5.4 metres high. Families who want to get in on the action can take their kids to the parent-child swings, sensory play areas, and spacious relaxation spots for a fun day out.
Then there’s the Cute Bears playground on the second floor of Go Park Sai Sha that’s more suited to younger children. Apart from slides, this space has rope courses and climbing frames. The third play zone features a long slide and an observation deck, which gives visitors sweeping views of the Sai Sha landscape.
What are the other attractions at Go Park Sai Sha?
Pet parents will be excited to know that Go Park Sai Sha also has a dedicated area for four-legged visitors. The glamping-themed pet park on the second floor near the Sky Park has five play facilities like ramps and tent- and RV-inspired photo spots. Pets can be brought in on a leash or in a stroller to the outdoor areas, where they are welcome at a variety of pet-friendly restaurants and a wellness shop. Visitors who come from Sha Tin, Ma On Shan, and Sai Kung can book a seat on a special pet-friendly bus to Go Park Sai Sha for HK$60.
Other attractions here include GO PARK Sports —an outdoor sports park spanning over 1 million square feet that has more than 10 internationally-specified sports facilities for golf, tennis, football, rugby, 3×3 basketball, padel, pickleball and lacrosse, among others. The area is also home to sports and concert venue AXA Dreamland, the Hong Kong Fencing School, the Super Motion 24-hour fitness centre, and the city’s first YATA Express.
